STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES
Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate? We're looking for personable
and enthusiastic candidates to represent us at our many events
around the world. We need self motivated student reps to help organise
venues, create interest and generate awareness of talks and
presentations at universities across the globe. You would be
co-ordinating term time promotions and liaising with relevant academics
at your university.
INTERNSHIPS
We welcome volunteers to help out at our London HQ throughout the year
in all of our departments: Research and Development, UK Operations,
Overseas Operations, and Events and Marketing. Internships are a great
opportunity to see how a conservation organisation runs and to gain
some useful skills and work experience. Internships are non-salaried
positions, but include travel expenses*. Positions last for 6 months,
on a 4-days-a-week basis.

On
completion of an internship you will have the opportunity to take up
a subsidised 10-week placement on one of SEE's projects
(excluding visas, insurance, dive training and flights).
Research & Development Intern
To gain experience in the development of international research and
conservation programmes, the identification of funding and work
opportunities, co-ordination of proposal submission, and development of
sponsorship and promotional activities.
Overseas Operations Intern
To gain experience in the operation, logistics and administration of
overseas conservation projects, providing assistance and support to the
Overseas Operations team.
Project Coordinator Intern
To gain experience in the coordination, logistics and administration of
overseas conservation projects, providing assistance and support to the
UK Operations team.
Events & Marketing
intern
To gain experience in event co-ordination and the marketing and public
relations activities of SEE, to raise awareness, promote
expeditions, and recruit volunteers.
Online Media Intern
To assist the Online Marketing Team with all aspects of SEE’s new
media marketing channels and to ensure an excellent web
presence.
Online Journalism Intern
To assist the Online Marketing Team with SEE’s online editorial
output incorporating website copy as well as social media activity. The
role will also include some basic Press Officer duties.
